Blurry night footage, unreliable playback or an unsupported app can have different causes. Identifying the problem first helps avoid replacing the wrong part.
Reuse where it makes sense
Existing equipment may be reusable if it is compatible, in good condition and capable of the required performance. An analogue system and an IP system do not necessarily share the same cabling or recorder requirements.
We explain what can remain, what needs changing and any limitations. We do not assume that every new camera will work with an existing recorder.
Better views, not just more pixels
A carefully positioned camera or a different lens can be more valuable than a resolution increase alone. Lighting, reflections and mounting angles are reviewed alongside the equipment.

Higher image detail can increase storage and bandwidth needs. Recorder capacity and retention settings are checked so an upgrade does not unexpectedly reduce the available recording history.
