Start with the scope
There is no useful single price for every property. A quotation should specify what the system needs to show, the equipment proposed and the work included. Borders CCTV provides a property-specific quotation; no standard installation price has been supplied for this website.
What changes the price?
Camera count is only the beginning. Camera specification, lens choice, lighting, cable routes, access equipment, recorder capacity and storage all affect the work. A short cable route in an accessible building is different from connecting a distant outbuilding.
Compare like for like
Check whether a quote includes cabling, power or network work, recorder storage, remote-viewing setup, testing and handover. Ask whether VAT applies, whether there are ongoing app charges and what aftercare and warranty terms apply.
What to prepare
A postcode, property type and a short description of the areas you want covered help start the conversation. Existing equipment model numbers are useful for an upgrade. Do not send passwords or private camera links.
Make it specific to your property
Explore installation services with Borders CCTV. We serve towns and rural properties across the Scottish Borders. A conversation about your site is the next step towards a useful specification.
